The roof is not for carrying luggage and has canvas curtains which roll down and fasten to brass swivels on the sides. The seats have brown leather cushions with storage area under the rear seat. There is also a canvas curtain with a small window in the rear and a canvas compartment for luggage. Three inch red fringe hangs from the roof all the way down. The inside and floor of the coach is painted green. All exterior wood is painted black with green pin-stripe decoration. The coach rests on platform springs with a 5th wheel front axle. Both axles are metal. The front wheels are 38 1/2" in diameter, have 1 3/4" iron tires, sixteen spokes, two felloes and Archibald hubs. The back wheels are 51" in diameter, have 1 7/8" iron tires, eighteen spokes, two felloes and Archibald hubs. There is an evener or doubletree and two singletrees and an extra pole for towing in tandem. Two metal foot steps are on either side of the coach. (The canvas curtains and leather are new).
