The German Army failed to prepare for the arctic weather they encountered. So in turn the Russian Army turns the tide of the war. The German invasion stalled due to the arctic weather. The Germans and their allies suffer thousands of casualties due to the freezing cold. The Luftwaffe became grounded, and equipment fails. The Russian Army takes advantage of the situation. The Red Army uses the lull to upgrade their ranks. The tide of the war turns in their favor.
