After an 81-day voyage, they set anchor in the entrance of Puerto de Bucareli situated 55° 17' north latitude on May 3, 1779. They spent six weeks exploring the coastal area and preparing detailed charts of the coastline and many waterways meandering between the islands. https://digitalcommons.csumb.edu/hornbeck_spa_1_a/1049/thumbnail.jpg Text Prince of Wales Island Digital Commons @ CSUMB (California State University, Monterey Bay) Entrada ENVELOPE(-60.552,-60.552,-62.998,-62.998) Pacific Plano ENVELOPE(-61.250,-61.250,-62.783,-62.783) Prince of Wales Island ENVELOPE(-99.001,-99.001,72.668,72.668) |
