Description
Summary:Bednarek-Ochyra, H. & Plášek, V. 2019. Entosthodon productus (Bryophyta, Funariaceae), an addition to the moss flora of the subantarctic Îles Crozet. - Herzogia 32: 326 -337.Entosthodon productus, an Australasian species, is recorded for the second time from the Subantarctic. In contrast to Marion Island in the Prince Edward Islands archipelago where the species is relatively frequent, only a single specimen of E. productus was found on Île de la Possession in the conterminous Îles Crozet archipelago. The island's plants are characterised and illustrated and the geographical distribution of E. productus is reviewed. The present diversity of the moss flora of Îles Crozet is briefly summarised.
