The rapidly changing society successfully adapts / adjusts the individuals who are able to trace the social situations and to participate effectively in social interactions. Use of addictive substances is one of adolescent negative social behavior. It is particularly acute and painful in this time . The situation encourages the disclosure of the causes and find the most effective ways of providing social and psychological problems in adolescence to neutralize. The aim: to identify teen social intelligence, addictive substance use and problems experienced by the links. Target: 499 (16-18m.) adolescents. Of these, 207 boys and 292 girls. Methods: Anonymous questionnaire. Addictive substance-use questionnaire was used to evaluate the professor. A. Goštauto teaching materials \"Health Psychology\" course (1999). Tromso Social Intelligence Scale (Silvera, Martinussen, Dahl, 2001) was used to assess adolescent social intelligence. Adolescent problem selection test (POSIT) was created in 1991 by Elizabeth Rahdert (NIDA - National Institute on Drug Abuse) was used as a screening tool to identify potential problem areas of adolescents. Translated and adapted at Vytautas Magnus University. Theoretical Psychology Department, 2007 by S. Grigalevičienė L. Gustainienė G. Jankuvienė I. Pilkauskienė. The results showed that the adolescent addictive substances use is associated with health, peer relations and aggressive behavior problems. Girls who are not use addictive substances have higher social awareness. But the girls who are using more addictive substances are better in processing social information than the ones who are using either one of the addictive substances. There is no such interface found among the boys. Certain problems are more pronounced in adolescents boys and girls with lower social indicators of intelligence than adolescents with higher rates of social intelligence.
