The importance of the international organizations has been a result of increased interdependence between national states. The creation of international organization is one of the most successful cooperation forms. International organizations in the Baltic Sea region which solves security problems has been analyzed as the main object of this work. Nowadays when there are around 200 states in the world, there exist more than 5000 international organizations and near 400 of them are intergovernmental. Though the number and influence of international organizations have been constantly increasing, there may be distinguished two supreme views which differs the role of international relations in the world: cynical or pessimistic and idealistic or optimistic. The first one notes the incompetence of international organizations while solving vital problems of the world. Other, emphasizes the importance of international organizations and their ability to make decisions which affect the international system. The states of Baltic Sea region (Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Sweden) cooperate in different international organizations. Scandinavian states solve their security problems in Nordic Council and Nordic Council of Ministers, and Baltic States in Council of Baltic Sea States, Baltic Council of Ministers, Baltic Assembly. These countries have been treated as mediators between confronted sides – EU, USA and Russia. Every side has its own geostrategic interests and goals in the region. This supports the situation problematic as the Baltic States being treated as mediators in this geostrategic triangle. The major aim of this work is to analyze the influence of USA in the Baltic Sea region international organizations which solves international security problems. The Baltic Sea region has been an instability zone for a long time, and the influence of Russia still has sense. To avoid Russia’s influence, the Baltic States treat USA and membership in NATO as their only security guarantee. America, besides, has own interests in the region: it seeks to form alliance Euro-Atlantic, find new partners in different continents and eliminate Russia from the world’s politics. USA has strong vision to create hierarchic and democratic world order in which it would be the top leader. The States of Baltic Sea region has their will to strengthen their regional power and cooperate with other regions and international organizations while solving international security issues. At the moment the states of this region continue to be “in-between”, not as inhabiting zone of conflict but rather a zone of transfer among three confronters – USA, EU and Russia.
