Summary:The Rovaniemi Code of Conduct is a public document which presents guidelines for resource development and business operations in the north. The code was finalized during the Arctic Opportunities Conference in Rovaniemi, Finland, September 12-15, 1994 and endorsed by the Board of Directors meeting of The Northern Forum on September 16, 1994. Regional and national governments along with domestic and international businesses are encouraged to endorse these guidelines and to integrate them into their development and business practices.
