The Arctic Resilience Report (ARR) team will release a scientific assessment report in mid-2016, while the Adaptation Actions for a Changing Arctic (AACA) team will release three regional scientific assessment reports in late 2016 or early 2017 and a Pan-Arctic scale report in 2017. The ARR and AACA teams are also exploring opportunities to coordinate outreach efforts in order to clarify and amplify key messages. There will be information in all of the reports that can facilitate effective responses to rapidly changing conditions at the international, national, and sub-national levels. The purpose of this document is to describe the similar and distinct purposes of the ARR and the AACA efforts and the complementary nature of these reports in providing information that can inform and support adaptation actions while also strengthening the resilience of human and natural systems.
