Lewis's investigations in cirque development in Iceland in 1937. Six weeks were spent in the Campbell Range on the east side of Billefjorden, Klaas Billen Bay. One party then visited the Stubendorff Mountains, and another visited Gips Valley, inland from the Campbell Range.
