Dealing with the study of the oyster stocks in Marennes Oleron basin, a method is set up to study oystr origin. Various collectors, factory-made or hand-made (about 90% of the whole) are described. Technical evolution, bound to the importance of potential catching in three concerned districts depands on the catching ability of the different types of collectors. The catching, achieved in the Seudre river, represents nearly 1 400 million units, wich is a theorical potentail quantity of 30 000 tons of adults oysters Dans le cadre des études du stock d'huîtres du bassin de Marennes-Oléron, une méthode d'évaluation du recrutement est mise au point. Les différents collecteurs utilisés, de fabrication industrielle ou traditionnelle (environ 90% du total), sont décrits. L'évolution des techniques, liée à l'importance du captage potentiel des trois secteurs étudiés, dépend du pouvoir captant des différents types de collecteurs. Le captage réalisé en Seudre représente plus de 1,4 milliard d'individus, soit un tonnage potentiel théorique de l'ordre de 30 000 tonnes d'huîtres adultes
