Summary: | This data set contains behavioural , response to predator cue and water chemistry data from two experiments which investigated how diel CO2 cycles affect the behavioural performance of coral reef fish under ocean acidification. Experiment one was performed at the aquarium research facility at James Cook University. Experiment two was performed at the National Sea Simulator facility at the Australian Institute of Marine Science. Behavioural laterilization was determined using a two-way T maze and response to a predator cue was determined using a two-channel choice flume. Data collection took place between February-August 2016. The full methodology is available in the Open Access publication from the Related Publications link below. This dataset is available as four spreadsheets saved in MS Excel (.xlsx) and Open Document formats (.ods) This data set contains data collected by Michael Jarrold of James Cook University in 2016 dealing with the effects of ocean acidification and diel CO2 cycles on the behavioural performance of coral reef fish. |
