description This record describes the End of Voyage (EOV) archive from the Marine National Facility RV Investigator research voyage in2016_v02, titled 'SOTS: Southern Ocean Time Series automated moorings for climate and carbon cycle studies southwest of Tasmania.' The voyage took place from Hobart to Hobart between March 14 and April 16, 2016. For further information refer to the Voyage documentation links below. Data collected include: Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP; 75, 150 KHz and LADCP), Scanning Mobility Particle Sizers (SMPS ), Disdrometer, Radon and Greenhouse (Aerodyne and Picarro) sensors, CTD, Hydochemistry, Gravitometer, pCO2 sensor, Fisheries Echosounder (EK60), and Multibeam Echosounder (EM122, EM710 and SBP120). Voyage-specific data include: Laser Optical Particle Counter (LOPC), Trace-Metal Clean Rosette (TMR), FIRe and SUNA on Triaxus, McLane Pumps, Plankton Nets, RESPIRE Sediment Trap, Aerosol Chemical Speciation Monitor (ACSM), Cloud Condensation Nuclei counter (CCN), Proton-transfer-reaction mass spectrometry (PTR-MS), Aerosol Aerodynamic Particle sizer (APS), Continuous Flow Thermal Gradient Diffusion Chamber (CFDCAir), Wide-band Integrated Bioaerosol Sensor (WIBS), Volatility-Hygroscopicity Tandem Differential Mobility Analyzer (VHTDMA), nano SMPS, NOAA Flux Probe, Moorings, Radiosondes, AVISO Satellite Altimeter, Time-of-Flight Aerosol Chemical Speciation Monitor (ToF-ACSM), Proton Transfer Reaction Mass Spectrometer (PTRMS). Three SOCCOM floats were deployed. The archive for the IN2016_V02 EOV raw data is curated by the CSIRO Oceans and Atmosphere (O&A) Information and Data Centre (IDC) in Hobart, with a permanent archive located at the CSIRO Data Access Portal (DAP, https://data.csiro.au/dap/), providing access to participants and processors of the data collected in the voyage. All voyage documentation is available electronically to MNF support via the local network. Access to voyage documentation for non-CSIRO participants can be made via DataLibrariansOAMNF@csiro.au. Original field data. The raw EOV data archive was transferred from the vessel and archived at the O&A IDC in Hobart. A manifest file for the final archive was generated (in2015_v02_manifest_1.0_rawVoyage_cs.txt). Available paper documents are scanned to 400 dpi PDF and stored at the IDC record storage system. ELOG files are generated as csv-formatted files and archived.
