Aerial photographs of penguin colonies in the Windmill Islands were taken with a linhof camera on the 16th of December 1990. Transparencies were then overlaid on the aerial photographs and colony outlines were traced, and individual penguins were marked with a dot. The transparencies were made from both coloured and black and white aerial photographs, but the author of the transparencies is unknown. The transparencies were scanned and converted to pdf format, and are available for download from the URl given below. The original transparencies have been retained by the Australian Antarctic Data Centre.
