Summary:Metadata record for data from ASAC Project 2210 See the link below for public details on this project. --- Public Summary from Project --- Ozone depletion over Antarctica increases UVB irradiances reaching the Earths surface in the region. Marine microbes, that support the Antarctic food web and play an integral part in carbon cycling, are damaged by UVB. This research determines Antarctic UV climate, biological responses to UV, and combines these elements to predict UV-induced changes in Antarctic marine microbiology. Included in the download file are 3 spreadsheets and 4 word documents providing further detail about these data.
