Description
Summary:Progress Code: completed Statement: Data source: original field data. (1) 40 CTD Stations were completed with a 24-bottle rosette (12L). (2) Salinity was analyzed with the Guildline Autosal Laboratory Salinometer 8400(B). (3) Dissolved oxygen was analyzed using Automated Photometric Oxygen system (SCRIPPS software). (4) Nutrients were analysed using Seal AACE 6.10 software: for Silicate, Phosphate, Nitrate and Nitrite and Ammonia, in units of uM/L. The data produced was processed through a proprietary Matlab application, Hypro (4.11). Note that nutrient data is now provided to 3 decimal places in the CSV file due to new instrumentation and improved detection limit. Previously values below the detection limit were set to zero or <0.02; these values are now displayed as the measured value. For more information please refer to the Data Processing Report. Credit This data was collected by participants on the Marine National Facility (MNF) RV Investigator voyage IN2016_V02. Credit The data was processed by Cassie Schwanger (CSIRO O&A) and Kendall Sherrin (CSIRO O&A). Credit Data archived by Vito Dirita (CSIRO O&A - Data Acquisition and Processing group). This record describes Hydrology (HYD) data collected from the Marine National Facility (MNF) RV Investigator voyage in2016_v02, titled "IMOS Southern Ocean Time Series Automated Moorings for Climate and Carbon Cycle Studies Southwest of Tasmania." This voyage took place between the 14th of March, 2016 and the 16th of April, 2016, departing from Hobart (TAS) and returning to Hobart. Hydrology samples were collected from Niskin bottles sampled at various depths during a Conductivity-Temperature-Depth (CTD) deployment. Parameters analysed were salinity, dissolved oxygen, phosphate, silicate, nitrate plus nitrite and ammonium. Samples were also collected every 2 hours for nutrient analysis from the underway system which collects water from 7 m depth and is not filtered. This dataset has been archived at the CSIRO O&A Information and Data ...
