The data is based on a review of national constitutions consulted for key phrases, such as, “Indigenous Persons”, “First peoples”, “First Nations”, “Tribal persons”, “Traditional” or “Customary landowners”, and annual reports prepared by the International Work Group for Indigenous Affairs (IWGIA). |
