All uncontaminated water data should be interpreted with reference to the water flow data. A cessation in flow occurs during the daily cleaning cycle (typically from 0100UTC until 0130UTC). Purpose This is the Science Data recorded onboard RSV Nuyina during the 202324V1 voyage. Scientific and underway data for the Nuyina's navigational, meteorological and oceanographic systems. This data was collected between 9th of October 2023 and 1st of December 2023 during the 202324V1 voyage. The data is organised using a file directory structure with the system/instrument as the top level directory followed by folders for the raw data (raw). Where it is available processed data (proc), and instrument and calibration documentation (doc) are included. The objectives of the voyage were to: # Deliver ingoing Davis personnel and 14 Mawson personnel # Resupply Davis station # Deliver SAB (Special Antarctic Blend) fuel to Davis Station # Deliver fresh water to Davis Station # Load RTA (return to Australia) cargo from Davis Station # Retrieve outgoing Davis and 3 Mawson personnel. We also undertook Ice Trials on the voyage south as a key part of the Nuyina commissioning process. 10 days were allocated to complete this prior to our arrival at Davis Station. The ice trials evaluated: * the performance ahead in 1.65m level ice with 30cm of snow cover * the manoeuvring ahead, astern and ability to perform a 180 degrees turn in 1.65m level ice with 30cm of snow cover * the ability to free the vessel by use of the heeling system * the ability to moor at an ice floe * the operational performance of at least 24 hours operation in heavy ice conditions Please refer to the Voyage Data Report for further details about the voyage, installed ...
