Summary:The author was invited by iiNet and Education Network Australia (EdNA) to develop a new educational resource for teachers. The resource documented the 2008 iiNet 1,000 Hour Day Expedition across Victoria Island, in the Arctic, by two Australians – Chris Bray and Clark Carter. The program covers a variety of curriculum disciplines and the lessons were developed so they can be linked to the curriculum outcomes in all Australian states and suit levels from Years 3 to 7 and potentially higher. The author offers suggestions as to how to incorporate the lessons into individual classroom programs. [Author abstract, ed]
