Summary:Late winter (March-April) snow surveys were regularly conducted in six regions of the Alaska's North Slope from 2012 to 2018 as part of NSF funded CALON (1107481) and ALISS (1417300) projects. Within each region, one upland tundra sites and two lakes were surveyed each year to record snow depth and density. Surveys were primarily conducted to understand lake ice growth conditions and lake water balance, but these data should have value for a range of other studies.
