Meteorological data from the Lake Peters watershed, Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, Alaska, 2015-2018

Three meteorological stations were installed in May 2015 at different elevations in the Lake Peters watershed. The lowest elevation station was at 850m at the G. William Holmes Research Station. Sensors included the following: Barometric Pressure Sensor w/50cm Cable - S-BPB-CM50; Hobo Pro v2 Temp/RH...

Datasets include barometric pressure, temperature, relative humidity, solar radiation, wind speed, gust speed, wind direction, dew point, ground temperature, and precipitation. The 850m station contains continuous data through August 2018, except for an instrument failure that occurred from September 2015 through April 2016. The middle elevation station was at 1425m in the Chamberlin Creek/glacier catchment. Sensors included the following: Hobo Pro v2 Temp/RH - U23-001; Hobo Pro V2 2X 6ft extension - U23-003; Rain gauge 0.2mm w/pendant - RG3-M. Datasets include temperature, relative humidity, ground temperature, and precipitation. The 1425m station contains continuous data through May 2018. The high elevation station was at 1750m in the Chamberlin Creek on a Chamberlin glacier moraine. Sensors included the following: Hobo Pro v2 Temp/RH - U23-001; Hobo Pro V2 2X 6ft extension - U23-003; Rain gauge 0.2mm w/pendant - RG3-M. Datasets include temperature, relative humidity, ground temperature, and precipitation. The 1750m station contains continuous data through August 2017. Temperature and relative humidity sensors were housed in a Hobo Solar Radiation Shield (M-RSA) and Alter-Type Rain Gage Wind Screens were installed around rain buckets.
