Organic carbon leaving three watersheds in coastal Southeast Alaska that vary in their relative amount of glacier cover was measured to understand how glacier shrinkage will impact the amount and type of organic carbon in rivers. Streamwater samples were collected 2-3 times per week between May to October 2013 at Cowee Creek, Herbert River, and Peterson Creek. Data include runoff, dissolved organic carbon (DOC) yield, particulate organic carbon (POC) yield, suspended sediment yield, δ13C-POC, and daily discharge from the three study catchments.
