All reanalysis products were remapped using a conservative remapping technique to a resolution of 0.75 degree latitude and longitude, based on the CFSR land-mask. The ensemble mean is calculated as a simple arithmetic mean of all available products at each timestep and grid cell that include valid soil temperature measurements.
