Description
Summary:This dataset contains snow depth data for Finger Lake, Long Lake, Vee Lake and Landing Lake, just north of Yellowknife, NT. Data includes derived snow depths from Ground-Penetrating Radar Two-Way Travel Times collected using a 1000 MHz sensor paired with the IceMap GPR system from sensors & software. Data was collected in December, 2021, and March, 2022, with data collected twice on one lake. The data is in .CSV file format for each lake. Snow depths derived using Kovacs et al. (1995) method. Interpolated snow depth maps in GeoTIFF format are also included for each lake. These were created using inverse distance weighting of the GPR-derived snow depths.
