Summary: | The data collection âArctic Foxes/Red Foxes in the High Arctic: Tracks, Sightings, and Presence/Absence Data. Deadhorse, Alaska, March 2012â is presence/absence data collected in Deadhorse Alaska from March 8, 2012 to March 16, 2012. The data represent a record of scat, track, and opportunistic sighting evidence of Red Fox and Arctic Fox populations in the high arctic. The primary investigator on this project was Falk Huettmann, who worked in collaboration with Dmitriy Korobitsyn, and Emil Larsson to collect the data. The metadata and data upload were completed by Danica Lewis. The data include GPS coordinates that mark the sites of data collection, as well as recordings of investigator observations of the presence/absence of arctic and red foxes in Deadhorse, Alaska.
