If provided in a published study, recorded channel width, river drainage area, and sediment load and/or yield were summarized. In the absence of these ancillary data from the original source, this data was compiled from other published studies, global and regional datasets, or measured from Google Earth images. The dataset also provides information on whether the rates were measured at an individual river bend or represent reach-based averages, as well as, whether the river is single or multi-threaded. Revisions 2023 January update Added 72 new erosion measurements.
