This data set contributes information on snowmelt and snow cover, soil and soil water nitrogen, phosphate, and carbon, microbial biomass, soil moisture, soil enzyme activity, anion and cation accumulation in soil, pH, and Leaf carbon:nitrogen C:N ratios. Data was collected from a total of 5 blocks, each with an accelerated snowmelt (created by placing 50% shadecloth over the snowpack) and control treatment plot, for a total of ten plots. Warming treatments using open-top chambers, were imposed in parts of both the accelerated snowmelt and control treatment areas. Thus we had four treatments: control, control + warming, accelerated snowmelt, and accelerated snowmelt + warming. Samples were collected within Eriophorum vaginatum tussocks (T) and in the inter-tussock spaces between them (IT). Measurements were obtained weekly.
