Lake Peters water level, Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, Alaska, 2015-2017

Hourly water level measurements were taken using Hobo U20L water level loggers installed on moorings near the water's surface at two locations at Lake Peters: one at the outflow (69.3485, -145.03141) and one near the lake's center (69.30993, -145.04644). At the outflow site, data were reco...

Description
Summary:Hourly water level measurements were taken using Hobo U20L water level loggers installed on moorings near the water's surface at two locations at Lake Peters: one at the outflow (69.3485, -145.03141) and one near the lake's center (69.30993, -145.04644). At the outflow site, data were recovered between 15-05-25 and 15-08-11, and at the central lake site data were recovered between 15-05-20 and 17-08-06. Data are reported as both uncorrected pressure (kPa) and relative water depth (m). Depth was corrected for local barometric changes (measured at Lake Peters cabin). Data were not corrected in July 2015, between Sept 2015 and May 2016, and between January 2017 and May 2017 due to weather station failure. A correction (-2.103m) was applied to the depths acquired after the redeployement to take in account the change in depth of the sensor. Instruments were not deployed between 15-08-01 and 15-08-08, or between 16-09-07 and 17-05-19.
