Description
Summary:To understand spatial variation in water quality in Stefansson Sound (Beaufort Sea, Alaska), Photosynthetically Active Radiation (PAR, micromole photons per meter squared per second) at the surface, 2 and 4 meter (m) depths and light attenuation at 2 and 4 m depth, as well as temperature (degrees Celsius), salinity (Practical Salinity), dissolved oxygen (mg L-1), and pH at 2 and 4 m depths was measured at 30 sites on three occasions per year in July and August 2004, July and August 2005, and July and August 2006. These data were collected as part of a larger study to assess potential impacts of offshore development in Stefansson Sound.
