The Distributed Biological Observatory (DBO) Conductivity-Temperature-Depth (CTD) data from 2011
The Arctic is changing. The Distributed Biological Observatory studies these changes in the northern Bering and Chukchi seas. These locations have been sampled annually since 2010. Other investigators also sample the same locations. As a result, the locations are sampled multiple times a year. Data are collected on environmental conditions including water column and sea floor animals that are food for whales, seals, and birds. Data are shared internationally.
