Hydrometeorological, biogeochemical and stable isotope composition data from precipitations, runoff and ground ice collected near Cherskii, Russia in 2012-2015.
The data sets were compiled under the project aimed at understanding how increases in air temperature and thawing of permafrost can promote changes in magnitude and timing of streamflow in cold regions of Eurasian Arctic. Most data were collected on two small experimental watersheds near Cherskii 68...

Alexander Shiklomanov The streamflow data were measured on two gauges located near mouths of two experimental streams Y3 coordinates (deg. min. sec): Lat. 68 45 33.09 N; Long. 161 26 49.66 E and Y4 coordinates (deg. min. sec): Lat. 68 44 32.71 N; Long. 161 24 49.68 E. Water samples for stable isotopes were taken from these two streams, from Kolyma River, its tributary Panteleikha and two lakes located on Y3 and Y4 watersheds. Rain samples for stable isotops were collected in location N 68 44 17.86 (deg. min. sec) and E 161 23 39. 05 (deg. min. sec) near Cherskii settlement. The ground ice and permafrost samplings for stable isotopes were made in several boreholes located on Y3 and Y4 watersheds. Air temperature and precipitation data are from meteorological station Cherskii operated by Russian Hydrometeorological Service. Geographical coordinates for each sampling site are given in the data tables. The spatial distribution of all sampling points and stream gauges are shown on the map in PDF file.
