Air, soil, and lake water temperatures of the Eastern Canadian Arctic (2017-2021)

Temperature loggers (Thermochron DS1922L or DS1925L ibuttons, Maxim Integrated Products) were used to record air, soil, and lake water temperatures at 1- to 6-hour intervals and 0.0625° Celsius (C) resolution. Air temperature loggers were positioned beneath heat shields and mounted at 2 meters (m) a...

Air temperature loggers were positioned beneath heat shields and mounted at 2 meters (m) above the ground surface. Soil temperature loggers were double wrapped in plastic bags (Whirlpak), placed inside plastic containers (PolyCon), sealed with electrical tape, and buried at 10 centimeter (cm) depth. Water temperature loggers were similarly double wrapped, placed inside 50 milliliter (mL) plastic containers (Nalgene or Falcon), sealed with electrical tape, and suspended at known depths in the lake. A subset of this data was spline interpolated and published previously at https://arcticdata.io/catalog/view/doi:10.18739/A2GX44W0N.
