Summary: | This section of the archive covers the Remote Sensing Images coordinated by GIS Professor Tracy DeLiberty of the Geography Department, University of Delaware. Samples only are uploaded because the imagery is many megabytes large. Data can also be obtained through the Alaska Satellite Facility and National Ice Center. The National Ice Center provided us with the data originally through a special request through LCDR John Woods of the US Naval Academy. There are several gigabyte of imagery. here we provide the main images used to make most of our decision in site selection. the VIIRS imagery link on the main NAICEX page captures the essence of what we experienced and could assess from Satellite Coverage. We were able to see thousands of images to make our decisions but those provided here were the ones that best explain what we needed to know.
