UVSIMN Version2 Barrow

This data set includes solar spectra and related data products from a SUV-100 spectroradiometer installed at Barrow, Alaska. The system has historically been part of the National Science Foundation's Office of Polar Programs Ultraviolet Spectral Irradiance Monitoring Network (UVSIMN) and is now...

The system has historically been part of the National Science Foundation's Office of Polar Programs Ultraviolet Spectral Irradiance Monitoring Network (UVSIMN) and is now part of the Arctic Observing Network. Data are from the "Version 2 data edition," which is the latest and most accurate data release. Data products include spectra of solar irradiance between 280 and 600 nm with a bandwidth of 1.0 nm; time series of spectral irradiance at various wavelengths; integrals over several wavelength bands (e.g., UV-A, UV-B); biologically effective dose-rates calculated with a large number of action spectra; total ozone; cloud optical depth; model spectra calculated with a radiative transfer model for referential purposes completing every measured spectrum; and ancillary data for quality control. Data are also available from the webpage http://uv.biospherical.com/Version2/ and additional information can be found at the project's portal http://uv.biospherical.com.
