Summary:This dataset reports equilibrium temperature and pressure data for binary (isoxazole + methane) and binary (tetrahydrofuran (THF) + methane) hydrates. Hydrate phase equilibrium conditions were measured through micro-differential scanning calorimetry (MicroDSC VII, Setaram). This work proved isooxazole hydrates can store methane guests in the large cages of sII hydrate structure by way of spectroscopic analyses, such as powder X-ray diffraction and Raman spectroscopy when the methane-isooxazole binary hydrate were formed in different stoichiometry number, C3H3NO∙34H2O. The referred tuning phenomena can occur on methane inclusion in the isooxazole hydrate.
