Position and temperature data were collected from 3 drifting buoys in the Bering Sea near Bering Canyon from 2014-2016. Drifters, drogued at 40 meters depth, were deployed during the May 2014 Oscar Dyson (DY14-05) research cruise. Data (position and temperature) were delivered via ARGOS satellite to the NOAA/PMEL lab on a daily basis. Data were submitted by the Ecosystems & Fisheries-Oceanography Coordinated Investigations (EcoFOCI) program at NOAA/ Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory (PMEL). Data are presented as four csv files: ecofoci_BeringCanyon_drifter136871_NPRB1301_2014_data.csv ecofoci_BeringCanyon_drifter136873_NPRB1301_2014_data.csv ecofoci_BeringCanyon_drifter136874_NPRB1301_2014_data.csv ecofoci_BeringCanyonCTD_NPRB1301_dy1408L3_data.csv The data are also available as .txt and netCDF format * Note: Data titled "ecofoci_BeringCanyon_drifter136874_NPRB1301_2014_data.csv" has added SSM/I % ice concentration data.
