Data in this collection include counts of salmon in Prince William Sound (PWS) streams (including bay, mouth and stream counts) 1948-2018. Data were generated from visual counts of salmon from airplane-based observers during low-level flyovers. Data were collected as part of ADF&G efforts to estimate salmon escapement by stream for management of commercial fisheries. Data are presented as CSV files that contain bay, mouth, and stream counts for each species and survey stream by day. Data include other observations including environmental conditions and presence of bears.
