Description
Summary:In 2009, the Global Carbon Group at NOAA Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory (AOML), in collaboration with Methanol Holdings LTD and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), outfitted the commercial tanker Las Cuevas with an automated system to measure surface pCO2, temperature and salinity levels in the North Atlantic Ocean, Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean Sea (http://www.aoml.noaa.gov/ocd/gcc/lascuevas_introduction.php). This data set archive is the Sea Surface and Atmospheric fCO2 data measured in the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean Sea during the M/V Las Cuevas 2011 SOOP cruises.
