Summary: | These EcoFOCI mooring time-series datasets consist of RCM-9 current data, Ecofluorometer, Seacat and nitrate data from moored instruments at 3 stations in the Chukchi Sea (C1, C2, C3). The Chukchi region is a shallow and seasonally ice-covered shelf, and instruments were located at near-bottom depths to avoid possible ice interference. Instruments were deployed on year-long moorings from the F/V Alaskan Enterprise in August, 2010 and from F/V Mystery Bay in August, 2011 during late-summer CHAOZ research cruises. Moorings were recovered during the August 2011 F/V Mystery Bay cruise and the August 2012 F/V Aquila cruise. Cruises were funded by the DOI Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) through the NOAA National Marine Mammal Laboratory. Mooring operations were managed by EcoFOCI personnel from NOAA/PMEL. Mooring time series data were processed at NOAA/PMEL/EcoFOCI using standard techniques. Missing data are listed as 1.0e+35. Time is recorded as UTC.
