The data in this accession were collected in Gulf of Suez and Aegean Sea from USS GALLERY between June 25, 1991 to August 4, 1991. The real time data of water temperature at varying depth bathythermograph (XBT) was recorded in stripcharts by the US Navy. Fifty three stripcharts and radio logs were submitted to NODC. The XBT data from these stripcharts have been digitized and are present in the current NODC data storage system in C116 file format.
