Description
Summary:The Bottle; Conductivity, Temperature and Depth (CTD); and phytoplankton data were collected in NW Atlantic (limit-40 W) as part of Joint Global Ocean Flux Study, Bermuda Atlantic Time Series and Station S project. Station S is a designation of a long-term weather station monitoring site near Bermuda. Sometimes also referred to as the PANULIRIS station, although PANULIRIS was the name of one of the ships that frequently occupied this particular site. The data was collected over two years period spanning from October 1, 1991 to September 30, 1993 from ships R/V CAPE HATTERAS and WEATHERBIRD II cruises #735-757. 23 OSD casts for 1993 and 26 casts for 1994 from Station-S was collected by Bermuda Biological Station for Research, Inc., Ferry Reach, Bermuda and Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, Woods Hole, MA. Data was received in NODC via George Heimerdinger from Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, Woods Hole, MA.
