The data in this accession were collected in Mediterranean Sea - Western Basin using USS GALLERY between September 8, 1991 to September 26, 1991. The real time data of water temperature at varying depth bathythermograph (XBT) was recorded in stripcharts by the US Navy. Three stripcharts and radio logs were submitted to NODC. The XBT data from these stripcharts have been digitized and are present in the current NODC data storage system in C116 file format.
