Description
Summary:CTD and oxygen meter profile data were collected in the Florida Straits and North Atlantic Ocean near the Grand Bahamas during eight separate cruises between the dates 26 April 2001 to 30 September 2006. The data reported in this data set include hydrostatic pressure (dbars), in-situ and potential water temperature (degrees Celsius), salinity, dynamic height (cm), neutral density (gamma), and dissolved oxygen (umol/kg). The vessels involved with these cruises are the R/V Knorr, R/V Oceanus, NOAA Ship Ronald H. Brown, and the Seward Johnson. These data were collected and submitted by Dr. Molly Baringer of NOAA's Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory as part of the Atlantic Ocean Western Boundary Time Series (WBTS) project.
