Description
Summary:NODC accession 0116859 includes biological, chemical, optical and physical data collected aboard the HEALY during cruise HLY1201 in the Arctic Ocean, Beaufort Sea and Bering Sea from 2012-08-09 to 2012-08-25. These data include CONDUCTIVITY, DEPTH - BOTTOM, DEPTH - OBSERVATION, DISSOLVED OXYGEN, FLUORESCENCE, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, SALINITY, WATER TEMPERATURE and surface irradiance. The instruments used to collect these data include CTD, PAR Sensor, echo sounder, fluorometer and oxygen meter. These data were collected by Jacqueline Grebmeier of University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science and Lee Cooper of University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science, and by United States Coast Guard as part of Chukchi Sea Offshore Monitoring in Drilling Area (COMIDA)-Hanna Shoal Ecosystem Study. The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NODC as part of the NSF sponsored Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program. The CTD data submitted by the originator represent the raw data suite. Processed versions of the data were generated by NODC.
