Description
Summary:NODC accession 0117389 includes biological, chemical, optical and physical data collected aboard the OCEANUS during cruise OC404-01 in the North Atlantic Ocean from 2004-06-11 to 2004-07-03. These data include Attenuation/Transmission, CONDUCTIVITY, DEPTH - OBSERVATION, DISSOLVED OXYGEN, FLUORESCENCE, HYDROSTATIC PRESSURE, SALINITY, WATER TEMPERATURE and surface irradiance. The instruments used to collect these data include CTD, PAR Sensor, fluorometer, oxygen meter and transmissometer. These data were collected by Dennis McGillicuddy of Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution as part of Eddies Dynamics, Mixing, Export, and Species (EDDIES), 2004 Survey 1. The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO) submitted these data to NODC as part of the NSF sponsored Rolling Deck to Repository (R2R) program. The CTD data submitted by the originator represent the raw data suite. Processed versions of the data were generated by NODC.
