The seabird assemblage within the ring was comprised of one nekton‐feeding species ( Puffinus lherminieri ) displaced from the parent water mass (Gulf Stream), and the storm‐petrels Oceanites oceanicus and Oceanodroma leucorhoa common in adjacent Slope Water.
