The mechanical application of a single treatment per year (late in September) with Nuvacron 40% emulsifiable concentrate, at the rate of 3.51/6001 water/ha, resulted in a low density of this pest. Similar results were also obtained when the pesticide was tested on a 35 ha area, under commercial conditions.
