Further experimental observations on the spawning behaviour of the Atlantic Salmon ( Salmo salar Linn.)

SUMMARY. The 1948 observations confirmed those made in 1947 and produced further data on the behaviour of the adult cock, and the cutting movements of the hen. The fertilized eggs collected from twelve nests gave a percentage fertilization of 97.6. 1,200 ft. of ciné film was exposed.
