Population genetic studies of the Atlantic halibut in the North Atlantic Ocean

Significant variation in frequency distribution of electrophoretically detectable protein variants between samples of Atlantic halibut Hippoglossus hippoglossus showed that the halibut from northern Norway and from the Faroes–Iceland–Greenland region may not belong to one panmictic population.
