Some Histological and Histochemical Investigations on Epidermal Proliferations of Postlarval Stages of the Eel ( Anguilla anguilla L.) The development of fish‐pox on the skin of post‐larval eels is described as an epithelial folding in the sense of a hyperplastic proliferation. It is supposed that this is correlated with an osmotic overburdening.
