Odontognathic Discrimination of United States Indian and Eskimo Groups

Selected measurements from dental casts of 216 individuals in four groups of Indians and one group of Eskimos were subjected to discriminant analysis. Eskimos and Indians could be distinguished at least 90% of the time. Discrimination among Indian tribes was 60% accurate.
